Mr M. I just want the default theme to work fine. I reverted all templates of the default theme but it just wouldn't work. I don't want my forum's current theme to be updated. I want to upgrade and use the default theme

If you upload the new files and run the upgrade script, just create a new theme and it should use the new templates.

with due respect Mr dragonexpert,I need someone to do it for me.
