Hello,
If I find another major bug I might be considering moving software's as this fells more like 1.8 Beta then A stable release it's just frustrating.

Anyway,

When I play around with the template CSS in global.css say for example cut the code in there and save it then refresh the forum the change will be reflected then the next or few times after say if you put the CSS back in the changes won't be reflected (leaving a forum with no css until you either change themes or re-install the xml file.

I have tried clearing my browsers cache and even using another device that has never accessed the forums before and still the same thing. So I think this might be another bug and I have re-installed Mybb multiple times thinking it might be the site it-self but still the same issue persists.

Ive seen a few bugs like the one that already been reported the spinner still shown when the error message has already been displayed and why doesen't Mybb use https:// most forum software's do like phpbb.

Mark

I just tested it on a free forum host running 1.8 and the same issue persists :/

So I can confirm the bug seems to be legit

Also some of the image sets don't work so I restored the .16 ones.
Now a question - what's the bug here? Caching should be considered as an useful feature and if you don't like it, you can turn it off in Admin CP -> Configuration -> Server and Optimisation Options -> Send No Cache Headers -> Yes...

How is that connected with caching? Also, MyBB supports https://, why wouldn't it?
it is because of caching - just follow @Destroy666 instructions
I turned caching off and it still to does it both on a free host and my forums. :/

Clearing my browser cache doesn't help
Could be a host issue as will as my plink CSS seems to be caching.

But why would it be doing it on other mybb sites and all browsers I access.
OK, I tried to reproduce and I have same problem...

IS there any way how to refresh the cache with css with cache headers enabled?
I'm not sure but if your having the same issue must be A 1.8 bug.

Clearing your cache doesn't help.

Debating about just downgrading to 1.6 for the mean time.
Do you have Cloudflare enabled?

Are you using any kind of caching rules in .htaccess?
No, I dont use cloudflare or caching
Could you link to a clean 1.8 forum with this 'bug'?
