I was reading a thread on The Admin Zone and it made me wonder how easy it would be to create "hidden" groups in MyBB. Users should not know they are members of a "hidden" group, nor should anyone else see it except those in the forum team.
The OP on TAZ created a Trouble Makers group to keep track of problem members (sort of like a quick search of members they want to keep an eye on). Unfortunately, their forum software sent out emails welcoming the member into that group, and the group title showed up in the profile and postbit.
