Looks like index.php was deleted. You could just restore index.php from the download package, but I'd be a little concerned as to why it just disappeared. Are you certain nobody has tampered with your forum's files?

Okay, thank you. How do you restore index.php? But yes, I'm certain, only me. It might be because I tried downloading Revive Ad-server and it didn't work.

index.php file is missing. you can add it from MyBB 1.8 files pack.

And I'd suggest to run file verification tool available at tools & maintenance section of admin panel to find any other
missing files. ignore files reported from install folder. add all other reported missing / changed files from MyBB 1.8 files pack

Hmm, that seems fishy. May be a bit left-field, but are you sure you weren't hacked? If you haven't tampered with the files, they shouldn't just randomly disappear.

I'd just export a DB backup, then reupload a fresh copy of 1.8 just to be on the safe side.

I think it was me. (?) I was downloading Revive Adserver and clicked overwrite files- maybe that's it?
