Everytime i try install a theme it glitches it doesnt show icons... please help i followed every step on filezilla.!

Ensure that not other groups can read your images folder, you can modify the permissions recursively by modifying the /images/ directory alone.
With Icyboards you have to upload the images to a part of ACP (can't remember which, or if they even have the option. It's been years). Also make sure that each image is as using the proper URL and/or directory. I'm assuming these icons you are referring to are images, since you didn't provide much information aside from that the "icons" aren't appearing.

You're not being very specific aside from the images aren't working. Please tell us the steps you have taken to get to the point you are currently at.

i went to filezilla logged in made a new directory called mytrade inside that folder i dragged all mytrade images not the image folder inside the image folder theres alot of images and folders like fonts, inc, and stuff so i dragged all them into the filezilla /mytrade went to my admin cp uploaded the theme and now nothing working all glitched!

Login to the administration panel and go to the "Templates & Style" tab. Find the MyTrade theme that you want to use, then to the right click on "Options" and then "Edit Theme". Once you are at the Edit Theme page for your theme, scroll down until you see the "Image Directory" field. Make sure it is using the correct directory for the theme.
Here is an example of the field (don't use the same directory as mine, use the /mytrade/ directory. The screenshot is just an example).

Once you've filled the field, scroll to the bottom of the page and save the theme.

do i create a folder in ftp called images then inside images folder name it mytrade then inside that just put all images?

It should be the same as the directory that you named it. Unfortunately I do not know the root directory of an Icyboards forum board, so I cannot help in that aspect. Since the forum is hosted on Icyboards, try creating a thread on their forums. Include as much detail as possible, and try your best not to be vague.
its not icyboards anymore i moved from there website and now created another one it has nothing to do with icyboards i downloaded my bb 1.8 from this site and installed it on my new site!
