when i complete a post (Not Every Time)  i get this error.  How can i fix this ??



MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
   2002 - Connection refused
Query:
   [READ] Unable to connect to MySQL server

Please contact the MyBB Group for technical support.

forgot to mention that i can refresh and clear the error

it is a server related issue. please contact your web host to get it fixed

Very typical, two problems pointing the blame at each other.
I think a better solution is to switch back to my VBulletin, and a different host.

If it is unable to connect to the server that means either you did not enter the database details correctly in your /inc/config.php file or the mysql server is down. If you are on shared hosting, I suspect it is the mysql server being down because shared hosts tend to overload their servers which can cause errors such as this one.
