I have a small forum that was just getting on it's legs, and we're thinking of switching forums.  I decided to try MyBB which was easy to setup, and the merge was running great up until I get to the 'Threads' execution.  It inexplicably reloads the merge/index.php page but nothing is shown.  

Can't figure out what's wrong from the logs in the DB.  I had PHP.INI display_errors=On and nothing is shown in my local environment, so I don't know what went kaput.

I can share the DB with the devs if they want to examine?

Can you try to disable the automatic encoding (http://docs.mybb.com/1.8/merge/troublesh...e-function)? That's the only thing I'm aware of which could cause that issue.

However, your database would help us a lot, as especially vanilla has a lot of settings which could break the merge.
