Here is installation step 1 in the readme:

1) Upload both the admin and inc folder to your forums directory and activate the MyTabs plugin on your board.
* Note: If you have a custom admin folder, rename the folder to your custom admin folder name before uploading.

What does that mean? Where *exactly* is my "forums directory"? I see no such thing. Thank you.

if you are using latest version of MyBB (1.8) then MyTabs plugin is not expected to work without modifying it.

Thank you. Do you know of any tab plugins that do work with 1.8?
