First make sure the second point is done... i dont see the images either in root or the custombrown directory...

O, I see, and that is why my icon and my smiley icon are all gone!

However, where and what code shall I add to the global.css? (in order for me to link the icon back to there?)
I think I finally know what went wrong already. In fact I should have ask: How can I change the image directory from: http://www.deutschesvaterland.com/images/ to http://www.deutschesvaterland.com/images/custombrown/ ???

Please be a bit specific on the instruction of how to change it, as I don't really know much about this Big Grin

1: Enter your Admin Control Panel

2: Click TEMPLATES & STYLE tab

3: Select THEMES, scroll down to list of themes and click OPTIONS >>> EDIT THEME  on theme named CUSTOMBROWN ,
scroll down to the area named  "Edit Theme Properties" >. look for area "Image Directory

The root directory for the location of the images used in this theme. Note that this only specifies the directory for the images used in templates, not the stylesheets." ,
you will see images in the box below the above text, type in custombrown , so that box reads images/custonbrown

4: Scroll down and click SAVE THEME PROPERTIES ( at the bottom of the page )

You should be now good to go ( after you  refresh your browser )

Thank you for your reply, but in the Image Directory is already set to images/custombrown . As you can see in the picture

I really wonder why when I pointed to the area(where the icon should be), the image directory was /image/ and not /image/custombrown/ as shown in the pic below, in which I don't understand why?

Is there any other place I need to check for?
Is there any way I can switch the directory from "/image/" to "/image/custombrown/" ?
