I tried to Duplicate Theme on the Default theme and it worked for the styles but rather than duplicate the templates with my modifications intact, it just gave me all the original templates (as they were when I first installed MyBB). So now I have a new theme with templates that are identical to the original defaults and the Default has all my change templates! This has to be a bug. But what is done is done. How can I swap the templates?
Solved my issue. But I think the Duplicate function might still have a bug (unless it was fixed in 1.8.1).
The trick is to Export Theme. So I did that and deleted the duplicate theme I had made before, and then imported the theme I just exported under a new name.
Now if I can restore the Default theme to it's original state, I'll be in good shape --and now I know what I should have done from the start.
