Hi, I would like to know how can I have moderation delay on newthread plugin.
What I need
I have a forum about promotions, when I create a new thread I add title, description and "expiration date" (now I'm using threadfields with xthreads, I use it only to filter post per month of expiration).
When the promotion expires, I move manually the post to another forum (forum only for expiration threads).
I would like it more "automatic": moderation delay (expiration date) to move automatically post on the date:
- Delayed moderation on newthread template (user chooses date of expiration);
- Automatically the thread, on the date, is moved from forum A to forum B ( = forum only for expiration threads);
- On postbit is showed expiration date.
I know it's almost impossible but maybe someone can give me advice on how to proceed. I know almost zero PHP language and Plugin system, but calmly and with the right advice maybe I can do it.
On Vbullettin maybe there's a feature similar (I think..or admins move still post manually
), user can add expiration date and post is moved automatically.
