1. Are there any plugins for sending an automatic welcome message after a user registers? The only plugins I see are for v 1.6 and/or lower.




2. Is there a way I can make a thread/post tool to automatically send a user a PM after there post has been deleted, moved, edited, etc..? If not, how would I do this any other way?


3. When a post has been edited by staff, how can I display something like

Quote:"Last edited by a moderator"

? (Kind of like how it currently displays with: "This post was last modified: 11-01-2014, 08:47 PM by username")

1. The plugin for 1.6 should work fine after changing compatibility.

2. Do you mean custom tools or default tools?
For custom just fill in the Send Private Message message/title.
For default you'll need a plugin. This is also for 1.6: https://github.com/lukasamd/MyBB-Mod_Notify Not sure if it works in 1.8. If not, you may want to contact the author (lukasamd also on this forum) and ask to update it to 1.8.

3. Admin CP -> Configuration -> Posting -> Show 'edited by' Message for Administrators -> set to Yes and Save
