in mybb is there any capability for sending multiple PM for more than one user at one time.

there sure is.
in the admin panel under 'Users and Groups' click 'Mass Email'
in there the 5th option is Delivery Method. just select Private Message instead of email.
Unfortunately, it isn't possible to send a pm to multiple recipients in the current version of MyBB.

there is if you are admin.
Admins can mass pm users, but my understanding of the original question was whether ordinary users could send pms to multiple recipients, and that isn't possible in the current public version.

So, this is not implemented in 1.2.x?
It's not possible in the 1.2.x series. It will be available in 1.4 however.
