Will MYBB 1.6.15 get updated in the future or that is it's history and we need to upgrade to 1.8?
1.6 will probably only receive security updates.
I hope MYBB will at least tell us when they decide to stop supporting 1.6 version.

Ok, but I clearly remember one of the staff saying that MyBB 1.6 will continue with security updates for 1 more year after the release of 1.8.
It will likely be around(!) one year - but nothing has been decided so far.
What version are we on now for the 1.6 series? I stopped checking after 1.8 came out.
