My hosting server installed php5.4.34 and quick edit, even if it works in the right way, it doesn't update the post after saving.
It worked fine with php5.3.29, so I guess it's an issue with php5.4.34 or maybe with MyBB 1.8.2!

I have the same issues when making a quick reply. There is a little spinner and never updates/redirects, but if I go back to that thread, the post is there.
I have:
MyBB Version 1.8.2
PHP Version 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.11
CKEditor (0.8.1)

The weird thing is that my HS was using 5.3.28 and it worked correctly but now it doesn't work since they upgraded to 5.4.34
