This is bothering me a little.

It was not like this in the previous version 1.8.2

not sure whether the issue is related to MyBB but referred forum is reported as a secured site on firefox 33.1.1

This is related to mybb because that is right there in the admin panel and occurred right after the upgrade.. The site is secured, you are right there. The problem is with the admin panel, that is after the upgrade not secure.

Looks like some tracking thing from the Wordpress blog. Images are meant to be removed from recent news though...

On the forum index, it shows latest news from the MyBB blog. It looks like images aren't always removed though. I'm opening an issue on GitHub for 1.8.4.

I guess it is not my forum index that is supposed to show news from mybb blog. But it does in admin panel. The question here is this that how do i fix the insecure content? It was all right but right after i uploaded new files for 1.8.3 i ran into this issue

Now i get it.
And yes insecure content appear on the admin panel index only. Things are fine when i navigate my way around
