Glad to see SMF isn't dead
There was a fork made of it that seems to be making waves too, named "ElkArte" or something.
I hate that software... I tryed that and that was hate on first look.....
From my opinion SMF is an old class forum script .
They should pay someone to make them better layout. This is pretty ugly.
I used to enjoy their whole KISS idea... But they literally have had a terrible design since I started forums...... who knows how many years ago.
I installed a test install of it last night. The features are great, and it's definitely a step forward in that regard, but the design is something I'll have to agree on. It really needs improvement. Check the alerts preferences page, profile pages, etc. It's especially ugly on those pages.
I know it's late in the process, but I really hope they'll look into improving some of that before it's released. It actually looks like it has potential outside of that awful design.
