The problem I'm having is that I keep getting a notification that there are n amount of users who need to be activated and to go to the ACP to activate them. I'm using email activation method, so this shouldn't even be appearing here. To reproduce this, simply create a myBB forum and allow users to register without automatic/instant account activation enabled.

Error: "There are 5 accounts awaiting activation. Please go to your ACP to activate the users."

You can remove it in the templates . Remove {$awaitingusers} in header template. It will go away. (p.s- it is a known bug)
