I need to remove the "Portal" option off of my menu, I completely deleted portal.php
Help?

Also I want to change "Forums" to "Home"

you can use this guidance => add / edit top menu links

basically those links are available in header template of the theme
admin panel >> quick menu (at left side) >> templates >> your theme templates >> Header Templates >> header
