Hello to every one. recently i have decided to allow my user easily registration with facebook. so i have download myfacebook connect mybb plugin from here : http://community.mybb.com/mods.php?actio...oad&pid=32 ..

currently i am using mybb 1.8.3 latest version.

when i try to install myfaacebook connect to my board it show me the error. my facebook connect plugin required "pluginlibrary " so i have downloaded from here : http://mods.mybb.com/view/pluginlibrary .

after installing plugin library it show a two error .

Hello PluginLibrary! (hello_pl.php) : This plugin is incompatible with MyBB 1.8.3

PluginLibrary (12) : This plugin is incompatible with MyBB 1.8.3


and the installation of myfacebook cconnect plugin not getting installed.

i also edited the version of plugin library from 1.6.x to 1.8.x but still it not working and myfacebook connect also not working. ??

what to do now ???

Plugin Library does not need activation and there is no need to change its compatibility line.

as said by .m. no need to activate Plugin Library. Just upload that plugin file to your server and click "Install & Activate" for MyFacebook Connect

problem solved.

here i am give some tutorial that i have done to make work of myfacebook connect may be it help full for others in futures.

1. i have download myfacebook connect from here : http://community.mybb.com/mods.php?actio...oad&pid=32

2. upload the downloaded pugin in correct folder using FTP or filemanager

3. Then download "plugin library" from here : http://mods.mybb.com/view/pluginlibrary

4. plugin library contain to files names are "hello_pl" and "pluginlibrary" .

5. not remove "hello_pl" that files doesn't need.

6. now edit "pluginlibrary" with your fav editor. i recommended you to use notepad ++

7. edit line 39

8. change ""compatibility" => "16*" to "compatibility" => "18*" (if your using mybb 1.8.x or if your using 1.6.x then skip step 7 & 8)

9 . now go to your admin panel and activate the myfacebook connect plugin. no need to activate plugin library.

10. now follow the steps said by @.m. (https://github.com/Shade-/MyFacebook-Con...to-install ) and (https://github.com/Shade-/MyFacebook-Con...umentation)

that it. now your ready.

Plugin successfully installed and i config that successfully. but when i try to register with facebook it shown error.



Please tell why it happen and what to do.

I guesses about this issues. i think it happen because there is a option like " login with facebook " and there is a no option like "sign up with facebook"

Please read the docs carefully. All you have to do is setup your Facebook Application properly.

yeah i checked. but still same issues
