Hey,

Is there any way to get rid of SCEditor on MyBB 1.8 and revert to the previous one? It's causing an awful lot of odd things to happen in posts such as random spans created without any logic. Some white spaces are also unintentionally converted to   and the poster assured me he did not want to use non breaking spaces in his post.

If we can't get rid of it, can we at at least make the WYSIWYG unusable?

Still looking for a way to revert to the old editor. I've figured out it was linked to the codebuttons template and that gives back the old textbox but unfortunately not the old toolbar.

for the old tool bar you have to include 1.6.x version's editor.js file (I've not experimented with it)

It would need to be converted to jQuery, and I'm sure it would require a bunch of template edits too.
