Thanks for the reply, DennisTT

I have to admit the forum software that I have is not one of the officially supported versions (IPB 2.0 - it was the final 'free' release of IPB afaik) but it does have quite alot of members and posts (and a few modifications as well) so hopefully that will help with any bug reports and such. I'm thinking of testing it in a local environment, or is it better that I use the same host/backup database?
It's recommended that you perform the conversion first on a copy of your existing forum (so that if anything goes wrong, you would still have your old forum to work with) and to make a backup of it before you do anything as always.
Sure.. I got an ipb 1.3 final with 664 messages and 74 user
and another one 1342 messages and 48 users ,I want to convert them to mybb 1.2.9 (last rel.) If it's necessary I'll post the Url's
Once made the conversion I'll back here to discuss about results
Just one thing: lamers have damaged with an exploit one of this forum IPB now is unsure I need to convert to mybb quickly
tank you
I would love to get added to this beta tester team soon as possible since i really need a way to convert vBulletin to MyBB
thanks

Yeah, same here.
We accept new participants each time we release a new build of the merge system. And don't ask me when that will be either
So..we can't test the older version to see if works?

No, because you obviously will have the same bugs that were already reported by the last batch. It would just be a waste of my time.

hmm smart....
anyways, do you think the new build would take a month or less finish?
