I would be very happy to test it too. I have a phpBB 2 forum, with 1000 threads and replies, and would like to merge it to myBB 1.2.9

So please let me "in" ;-)

You didn't make any posts on these forums around the time of December 2006.
Your first post in this thread requesting the MyBB Merge System was on September 20th 2007.

yes i didn't request it since i didn't know this thread exist. And i didn't think it would take so long. and i do exist in this forum since last year.

Either way you've been added to this beta for a while.

On another note, the MyBB Merge System Beta Testing will be suspended until MyBB 1.4 is released. We will be releasing a few modules to the public that we feel are stable enough (vB 3 & phpBB 2 at least)

How long until 1.4? I can merge all the data from phpBB2 myself, but a nice tool would be... nice. But if 1.4 is coming soon, I'll wait until it's released to convert. Will 1.2.9 templates work with 1.4 just the same?

No, 1.2 templates will have to be updated to 1.4. Also, the release date will be before the end of the year.

Also like I said, we'll be releasing some of the modules publicly so you won't have to wait.

Thank you! And great work on the forum. Best I've ever used, and I've used a lot of them. Keep it up, and I'll be waiting for 1.4.

So that was why I asked, if you had a possible finish/release date for those two merge tools, mentioned above.
