Hi, I recently downloaded the mybb latest version, and I'm now having trouble with the set up,
if someone could private message me, I'd be happy to give the details to my host so this issue can be resolved,
also I have a question; How do I see the name of my database to get past this part on the setup?

Thanks,
Tdbnz.
You need to create a database in your host's control panel. If you're unsure how to do this you should contact your web host.
have a look at the installation steps to know about each screen during the install process... as said above by Nathan, you need to create a new database in your cpanel and enter those credentials in that page you have mentioned...
If you still not able to get it, read here, this might help : http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/w...nel-cpanel
If you use one-click install (softaculous), this should automatically set up your forum without any hassle.
Otherwise make sure that you've created a database in phpmyadmin and add users to it.
I would advice you to do not use softaculous or any other autoinstaller, there are usually some problems in installation by using autoinstallers. Plus, if you do it manually go will get to know more about managing your website or creating databases all by yourself, and next time you dont have to rely on someone at least for this.
Hi guys I'm with a free host (000webhost) I know that sucks, and I should probably ask on their support forums, but can anyone tell me how to create a database on their cpanel ?
Yes I know one-click installer isn't the best thing. There is pros and cons on using those installer.
@tdbnz Yes this next tutorial I'm showing you is how you set database up, every host is different but they'll at least have something like that tutorial.
