Its not showing up in the User and Groups? I installed and made it 1.6

Then you obviously didn't make it 1.6x compatible.

so how to get rid of firewalled? i mostly use in office and we have a shared internet via routers. i am not able to visit site at all. can you help me in this a little bit.
