MyBB Community Forums

I need the title in the top of the browser window to be different than the title above the forums. How can I change that?

In global.php

find

$navbits[0]['name'] = $mybb->settings['bbname'];

Change $mybb->settings['bbname'] to something like "My new" or anything but keep the " ".

This will change the Nav main bit. For the page title you will have to change the BB name from the settings page.

Change this line: $navbits[0]['name'] = $mybb->settings['hrforum'];

to:

$navbits[0]['name'] = "hrforum";

i didn't say change only bbname to anything..

The whole line should look as

$navbits[0]['name'] = "My new annoying nav"; 

I tried that, but I STILL get:

You can't save the file with notepad, try either wordpad or any other text editor.
