issue with 1.8 upgrade

when I open a new post the input screen is filled with data from like the menu bar 

can we have forum URL - looks like Gzip compression is set to high level or there is dual compression ..

I posted a screen shot, that shows as a screen shot in edit mode, but not when browsing?

I just tried to delete the image/text above and it will not let me

^ would you like to PM me temporary access to forum admin panel and files (ftp)
- you can give your own credentials & change them later.

just wondering, if my issue is a theme issue or not?

Font Name
Font Size
Font Color
Remove Formatting

Insert a horizontal rule
Insert an image
Insert an email
Insert a link
Unlink

Insert a video

Maximize (ctrl+shift+m)

all my themes are the default.
but i am not sure that is the problem.
i have been offered help, but they can not log on.
i have others who can log on, but they are not mybb smart.

any guidance would be great

try using a different theme for the editor....

ACP >> Themes >> Default >> Edit Theme Properties >> Editor Style
