How do I get rid of the 'x' image avatar? It only shows up for members who don't have an avatar. I want to keep everyone elses avatar just get rid of it for the members who don't have one.

recent versions of MyBB (1.8.x) use a default avatar image. that should be visible on your forum where user has no specific Avatar.
