We solved the problem via PM. Template issues have been due to an old XThreads usermap plugin....
My usermap still loads and seems to work OK but new members are not able to add a pin. No matter what address or zip code that is entered, the result is:
ERROR
Coordinates not found for adress.
I was working perfectly but I am not sure when it stopped finding addresses?? Any help would be appreciated!!
I jist wanted to add this plugin to my board. Please let me know if you find anythink
Google changed their service for Google Maps API's back in June 2018. Unfortunately, Google Maps is not working any longer without an API and API's are not longer provided for free. One can apply for an account of $200 USD per month for free access to an API to use Google Maps but you need to setup a billing account.
If one has not received such a new API including all the new stuff which needs to be considered, looking up for an adress will end up in the error messae "Coordinates not found for adress"....
Edit: I have not been able to create a proper and working restriction of using the API for my domain and decided to let it run without any restriction. That works for me as guests do not have access to my usermaps......

What did you do to make it work? I might move my map to a hidden page or something also.
I would love to see something like this open to other mapping APIs.
What exactly do you mean by that?
Something like openstreet map ?
