Afternoon,

I spent 30 minutes to try to change"Post Thread" to "Post Topic".

Anyone have an idea?

Searching phrases for MyBB is hard

Nope. Just the button for "Post Thread".

I can change the text by using "inspect" in Chrome.

I feel like a lot of searching is needed to change a word on MyBB forums. I'll just give up soon.

Configuration > Languages > English (Edit language variables) > forumdisplay.lang.php and change the value of the var post_thread.

If you want to edit it through template, go to your forumdisplay_newthread template.
