Hi guys, I want my domain from my main site to be different when people visit the forums, I also want to use a different web host for this too. When I upload all the forum files, will everything auto switch so everyone keeps their accounts & everything? What will I need to do?

you have to take backup of the database and the files & restore them at new host web server

Don't forget to change the cookiedomain variable in both inc/settings.php and the settings table in your database, otherwise one will overwrite the other.
