Hi

I'm facing problem with mybb postbit spam button.
I suppose other postbit buttons are made with css.
In case of spam button, I'm observing blank or no button.
Thus I manually uploaded image at mydomain.com/images/postbit_spam.gif
It really looks awkward so please do help me out in fixing it.
I even checked at Post Bit Templates ...everything was present except postbit_spam.

Kindly require your support.
This means that you're most likely using a 1.6 theme in 1.8, which is not really supported here. What's your board URL?
Thank U ..it is http://foodrecipeseasy.com/ ... I'd installed 1.6 then updated it to 1.8.
Have you recreated the default theme after upgrade? If not, that's recommended: http://community.mybb.com/thread-158870-...pid1100165 Note that you will have to reactivate plugins that modify templates after that.
Hi Destroy666! Thank U for the info.
I'm really confused now.
Let me put my story here:
1. I installed 1.6 version and later updated it to 1.8.
2. Then I selected 1Point8 theme and used it for a couple of days. Felt it is always better to customize the default one and thus ..
3. Started customizing the default one using the tutorials here and there.
4. Found error of blank messages and thus I posted here for the support.
5. Now please guide me ..how to proceed further.

Sorry for troubling U.
modifying a theme to make it fully compatible with MyBB 1.8.x might need lot of manual work.
upgrading guidance Wrote:Visit your Admin Control Panel, then go to Templates & Style > Templates > Find Updated Templates. This will show you a list of all the templates that have changed during the upgrade.

You can either revert these templates to their default - meaning all the changes you've made to it will be removed - or you can see a Diff Report which will show you exactly what's changed. If you have a custom theme installed, it is probably best that you look at the Diff Report and apply the changes you need.
as you want to use MyBB's stock theme, as suggested earlier, recreating the theme should make the work easy.
Thank U ...I think I fixed the issue. (still confusing!)
One more query ...but this is not concerned with postbit .

I notice ... this ...at the bottom -right of the forum. (exactly above Return to Top icon) .

What is it? Only the Admin can see it or a normal member can also see it?
How to get rid of it?

Thanks in advance.
^ that is debug information and visible only to administrators. it is useful in debugging (if required)
if you want, you can turn it off at below location
admin panel >> Configuration >> Settings >> Server and Optimization Options --> Advanced Stats / Debug information
Thank U ... I'll leave it aside.
