We recently upgraded to MyBB 1.8.3 from 1.6.*

One of the bugs we have noticed is that when you attempt to enter more than 3 recipients, we get the error "You can only select 3 items" as shown below:



I have verified the settings for my group (Administrators)



Every other user seems to have this same arbitrary limit of 3 as well (it was they who brought it to my attention).


Any ideas or suggestions? anyone with the same issue?

Just tested on my 1.8.3 install and I see the same issue.

Hm... yes - I couldn't find any reference to the bug on these forums so I thought it best to report it.

I did quite an extensive search to find anyone else with this issue. first with google and then directly on the forums. I restricted my search to the 1.8 Support forums so that I would not get 1.6* responses and found nothing- not realising that there was a set of 1.8 development forums as well. Sorry. Thanks for the fix though.
