I was hoping I could make a suggestions.  I would love it if the calendar would create a new thread, tied to an event created, that we can then redirect to any of our subforums (from config lets say).  Pie in the sky would be if the thread it creates could actually track who is coming by allowing users to click yes, no, or maybe.

Please let me know how crazy this is.

I would really love integration with other commonly-used calendars please. Google Calendar, Yahoo Calendar, Microsoft Outlook...the APIs are there, so hopefully won't be too difficult to implement!

I know something like this existed in 1.6, I'm not sure how well it works though and how much of a hassle it would be for it to work with 1.8.

Yes, I miss this in MyBB. This feature is for example in SMF
