okay i see my own user in the mysql setup
and when i login it says you have successfully logged in (if i type diff password or user it gives you have entered wrong information)
and when it redirects me back it just gives me, HELLO guest, and it wont let me login.
i can see myself in the members area aswell.
is this any common issue? i just installed the Mybb cause my friend was so nice to tell me about this website so i could make my own forum.
it looks really good and seems i can customise it alot but i dont know that yet since i cant login! =D

okay, is just first time trying out a forum on my server, aslong u wher able to open the website everything was usually okay when adding stuff or deleting.
doing it now.
just a small question, why the . before my ip adress? 84.48.67.47
and after i changed from localhost to my ip adress on bburl then my page looks white and layout wont appear, like this

and if i change my ip adress and then connect to
http://84.48.67.47/quackhoes/index.php
then the page looks normal again but then same issue, when i login it says i have successfully logged in then it puts me back to not being logged in after it redirects me back to page.
because if im on my own network and i try open up
http://84.48.67.47/quackhoes/index.php i just get bad url. and if i use localhost it shows the way u guys see it. except after last change in the cookies wich made it all white.
but still, used another ip adress and tried logging in again. same problem. and i got the same settings as u wrote above using notepad ++ ofc.

dont know the apache version tho.
yeah its pretty basic,
i cant use the ip adress to view my page, only localhost will work for me, i will only be able to fix on this when im not using localhost. wich means changing home or just using phone again.
cause after i login it changes the adress to my ip adress and that means i recieve no info. when i login now i just get no data recieved since it changes from localhost to my ip adress.
IP address for the forum should work without severe issues. at present it is looking fine for me.
however, why not get a domain name ..
then why not try and making a user then login?
it just says you have succesfully logged in then it gets back to, welcome guest.
tried even on another IP and logged in. got same result.
that was my onliest issue. not being able to log in, it says i have logged in then it redirects me back to welcome guest! login or register thingy. and if i write wrong password or name it says you have wrong information****
