How do you show the ratings information on the postbit? Much the same as likes, i.e "member1, member2, likes this post" with a link to click if a comment was made.

You can't without a plugin. Jones has made one called MyLikes that pretty much does that.

But that takes away the "rating" ability or am I missing a step?

it replaces it. It basically turns the reputation system into a likes system.
