Hey Just wondered if you could help me out. I just downloaded and added this to my site but it has went in really broken. As can maybe be seen at the following link, http://www.vpfl.club/forum/index.php?my_...d&theme=10

I absolutely love what some people have done with this theme and really want to adapt it to my purpose. We want something between http://www.worldwidesoldiers.com/index.php and http://neverwintertradeforum.com/search....0d3879670d. Both of which i think look really good.

The Forum Boxes seem to have went abit crazy on my forum as well. They are literally all over the place. Could u maybe attach an in-depth guide to how you switch these out for a normal forum layout? Cos it is really confusing me

For some reason it seems to be trying to put the forums in boxes and have multiple boxes per line. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Danny

tbh i dont have a clue why it shows like that...
maybe some plugin installed?? not sure
pls if u want send me by PM a test Admin account with themes and templates permissions
also if u use any plugins pls tell wich ones and also give me permission to it also
just to know, have you edited anything? on the templates? if yes you have always the option to delete the theme and his templates and install it again

to make it wider go to global.css and search for:

well we do the website with a team, but we can help you if you like that.
we just edited a few lines on portal and renamed the index.php first into forum.php and after that we renamed portal.php into index.php and your website is updated, since the new version of 1.8 you dont have to edit the files or using a plugin for this.

So if you still need help contact me and i will explain it to you.

BTW subz i have a issue with the announcements i want that space wider and not that small and my latest threads doesnt work, do you know how to solve this?

Could u mayb help me understand how i can turn the forum layout from having the boxes into just the traditional way? I think just now my plan is to have the portal page as the main but then have the drop down menu thing u posted in here which will point directly to forums. This means it would be easier to have the standard layout. Is it as simple as downloading Duende v1 and replacing some areas of code?

for the portal became homepage its a simple edit on the .htacess file
go to your ftp and on the htacess file add this to the bottom

DirectoryIndex portal.php

pls the original Duende theme its diferent from this one
its not just replacing some codes (well it is but its alot of codes )

Hey, Me again. Sorry I'm really confused with getting the normal layout. It says swap v1-v2 but I don't really understand what that means because I'm a noob. What is V1 and what is V2 and if they are external downloads could u provide links to them please

V1 is version 1
V2 is version 2
in this case the v1 is duende theme
v2 is duendev2 theme

if u are having troubles in doing that pm me a test account and ill do it for you

Hey Thanks alot for the heplp. My forum is really beginning to take shape. Just wondering if you could help me abit more.

1. The dropdowns posted in comments are phenomenal but i just wondered if there was any way to get the menu that drops down to each drop down directly underneath the category? At the minute i have 3 but they all appear in the middle underneath the 2nd category

2. How do i go about getting the recent posts plugin which i have to appear in the recent news box? Is there a specific code or something i need? I have little php experience so dont really know what i need to integrate the plugin with that box.

3. How do i get the member welcome block to stay on the top line? When i added the drop down nav bar it made the block drop down and now it is stuck there

Any help is as always greatly appreciated and i genuinely apologise for being a nuisance. Just love the theme and want to use it to its best capabilities

and save
2.i dont see any "Recent News" box but basicly its possible to set it anywhere i guess
3.the welcome block code its inside the top bar
for it to be fixed (would stay on same place even if you scrool down the page)
you need to add a class on the css files lokie
position: fixed;
but that would screw up the layout also and would need some aditional css tweaks but it is possible also
