I'm using the Steam Login plugin, and I'm using the Username Change Approval/Limit/History plugin along with it to allow my users to change their username on the forum to something desirable, rather than whatever their Steam name happened to be at the time.

However, the Steam Login disables the use of passwords, and Username changes need a password before the Username can be changed.

I was wondering if I can disable the requirement for a password for Username changes?

Nevermind guys, I figured it out for myself. Deleting lines 1363 to 1366 in usercp.php gets rid of the password requirement.

Why you need to disabled password requirement. This features is kept for user verification and security purposes.

Moved to mod requests as its about plugins and behaviour not mybb core
