The "Thanks" button shows up and you can click it and everything, the only thing not showing is the count in the User profile or in the postbit, is there any way to fix that?

which MyBB version & which theme you are using ? have you checked it on MyBB stock theme ?
can we have your forum url & a test user account so that someone can check the referred issue
