I want a donation system on my forum. Is it possible that you get a new groupmemberschip (donor) when you donated?

You can try with this some plugin

And create a new group and group promotion .
This is a plugin for mybb 1.6.x but u can use this plugin in mybb 1.8.x with simple edition
you can change this "compatibility" => "16* to "compatibility" => "18* . to use mybb 1.6.x plugin in mybb 1.8.x in file contain in /inc/plugin/
but some plugin work and some not.

I have a donation plugin (number 1), but how can I give a user who donated automatically a another group memberschip. I don't understand that?!
You can use a plugin called mysubscriptions.
Use mysubscriptions or code one.
