What is the best way to duplicate the exact theme I have heavily edited? I have tried to duplicate theme, but the templates to export. If I export then import theme, say thing happens. The theme is then "broken" up by a cached folder. How do I get the duplicated theme to "stand" on it's own without being cached? Hope all that makes sense.

I hope I am following you correctly.... try exporting the theme with "Include customized items only?" set to "NO" and "Include templates in the export as well?" set to "YES"
