Entering strong login passwords to MyBB boards on mobile devices can take time: this plugin allows users to log in on mobile devices by simply scanning a QR code.



The plugin hooks a link leading to the code generation page in the User CP. After confirming the current password a QR code is displayed which can be then used to sign in into the account without having to type in the password on mobile devices.

Adjustable code strength, expiration time and log-in history ensure the security of these operations.

If I have to type in my password to get the QR code, then what's the incentive to use it when I could just type it in my phone/tablet?

I think it would be more practical if there was a setting on how many times a code could be used before it requires regenerating. Perhaps this could be a user option.

You can save time (assuming that you use a wide variety of characters), especially if you use a password manager on your computer.

Thanks, I'm planning to improve the UX while maintaining the security standards, including multi-use of a single code.

I hope you put this on Global Hooks, and before click will save temporary the referal link. So, after login into mobile will go to same link as PC

Is the link visible (as shown on the screenshots) on Default theme?

You might need to insert

{$dvz_qr_login}

after

{$referral_info}

in the usercp template manually.
