I've used this Basic Search Box (LINK: http://mods.mybb.com/view-resource/basic-search-box ) and placed in my sidebar... It works for the titles of topics and keywords contained in the posts but not with users, forums and categories...
How to improve it?

This plugin was never designed to work in the way you require it to above. You would have to add features into the plugin and unless you know PHP you will have to hire someone to do this for you.

This isn't a plugin. It works with the search.php from mybb ...
