Selec the black text and use the "Remove formatting" button from the text editor, is not a problem with the theme.

Well the SCEditor that comes with MyBB itself is a WYSIWYG Editor, that means everytime you copy and paste something the editor itself is going to try to read the formatting and duplicate it when you paste the content.
You can disable the SCEditor and use the normal editor from your user panel > edit options > other options > check the "put the editor in source mode by default" option and save the changes.

I'm having an issue with the avatars on posts not appearing the right dimensions and resizing, yet in the users' profile it appears at the proper dimension.
How can I stop avatars on the posts to be resized smaller than what that usergroup is allowed to and has uploaded?
For example, look at the white avatar on my profile;

Yes I know that avatar would be WAY too huge for a normal post but I put it there for testing purposes.
As a temporary fix, I did this: edit the postbit template (ACP >> Templates >> Your Theme Templates >> Post Bit Templates >> postbit_avatar). Remove the following code: '{$useravatar['width_height']}'
But this seems like a really hacky fix

How have you given certain avatar dimensions for each usergroup?
Is ACP > Configuration > Show thread options > Maximum Avatar Dimensions in Posts over riding your usergroup dimensions.
