using the backup of a db, you can restore the posts and users.. however you will be losing any customizations and plugins...

next_bday_year -  that doesnt seem to be a default column in mybb_users Huh
So what to do???
Remove plugin related to that and taking backup???
is there anyway to remove that column from backup file??

thanks man.

considering that your table prefix is mybb and that column is in the users table, run this query...

ALTER TABLE mybb_users DROP COLUMN next_bday_year
Thanks man....
i will try it,. and every file i try to backup giving some error.
should i follow your step for every error???
get back soon.
if you want a clean install, uninstall all plugins, take a backup of the db, delete files and folders as suggested in above posts, upload fresh (and same version) copy of mybb, install the forum, import the db...
Ok..Let me try all way. first unistalling all plugin and than backup.if this not work than run query.
thanks a lot bro.

Can i delete those tables from phpmyadmin backup for which plugin previously installed but still their tables still seen in backup?
