I saw there was a recent tweets plugin, can't find it now will update this thread if I do.
UPDATE: Found that plugin already. But it's not what I am looking for

Is there any chance of something being developed like this below?

That's from wordpress. If not. Is this reasonably easy to do myself? I would want it on the right or left hand side of my forum. So, and option where to place something like this would be great.
