Hi ,

I am new to MyBB and about to launch my Forum site .Google has been my assist till now , but there are few things that weren't available ,
I am running version 1.8 .

I have many queries regarding the Admin CP .

1.How can we create an announcement like this in the forum .



2. How can we create threads or posts directly from the Admin CP .

3. How can I do the SEO of my forum , I searched bout Google -SEO but its not compatible with this version .

4. How can we create a page and link it to the main menu of the board , .

1. Not too sure off the top of my head, I will investigate and get back to you. You can achieve this by configuring forum rules in each of the sections you wish this to display in.

2. I don't think that you can do this within the MyBB core. You may have to have a custom plugin coded for this. Wait for someone else to confirm this.

3. Use Google SEO and open the php file and change the compatibility line to 18*
