I would love to see a banner/webring exchange plugin that webmasters could use to promote each other's MyBB sites.

I used one YEARS ago when phpbb was fresh, and haven't seen one like it since for any forum board.

I've seen this mod and it MIGHT work. I'd have to create a custom page that has just the ads on them from other users.
