It still says there's an unread reported post even though I marked it read and there are now no unread reported posts.

I tried rebuilding the caches (all of them) and did all the Recount & Rebuilds.

I would upgrade to 1.8.x but my theme is VERY incompatible with it and I really like our theme we have spent a very long time personalising it.

I tried updating from 1.6.13 to .16 (which we are now on) and this involved recreating the theme's cache as well, but through all of this the problem remains.

Any ideas?

ACP->Tools->Cache Manager. Update your Reported Posts Cache.

Yeah as I say I have tried that already several times and the problem remains

Go to PHPMyAdmin and run this query:

UPDATE mybb_reportedposts SET reportstatus=1;

See if it says how many rows were affected. If you get a number other than 0, rebuild the Reported Posts cache.

Hm, it randomly stopped appearing lol

No idea why!
