I dont know if this is possible, but what i want to be able to do is as follows.

When a new member register to my forum i want to lock them in 1 section untill they make a welcome post and then once they have done that it will release them into the full forum

I will appreciate it if anyone can help

You can put then in a specific group after registration, with certain limited permissions and option, then using this move them to another group with the full permissions.
